The 23-year-old footballer from Sangsey, Kalimpong started his professional football career with Bhaichung Bhutia owned United Sikkim three years back.
Nadong then went to play for Eagles F.C. of Kerala on loan for 2013-14 seasons. In 2014 when Indian Super League came into existence Bhutia represented Mumbai City FC in the 2014 Indian Super League.
He signed up Royal Wahingdoh for 2014-15 I-league seasons and was drafted for Atletico de Kolkata for ISL 2015 season.
Nadong is signed for the final round of I-League second division starting from March 26 by Gangtok Himalayan who are looking to make place in 2016-2017 I-league season.
Nadong said “It is my honor to play for Gangtok Himalayan SC as I had started my football career from Gangtok through United Sikkim FC three years ago. I am getting an opportunity to play again here and I thank the club for giving this opportunity.”
“It would be a great thing for the entire Northeastern region if Gangtok Himalayan wins the final round and makes it to the I-League. The club has very good local football talents who can perform at the highest level of football. Everybody will get a platform if a club from Sikkim gets to play in I-League,” he added.
