Shillong Lajong FC secured a record breaking victory over Boys Sports Company.
Defending champions Shillong Lajong Club (SLFC) had a long breather after they secured a record breaking 11-0 victory over Boys Sports Company (green) with one of the biggest margins of victory in Shillong Premier League history.
The dominant red took the lead in the 12th minute through skipper Samuel Lalmuanpuia who scored a total of four goals (12´, 15´, 17´ and 25´). And this was the first four goal of the season by a player in a match. With this Lalmuanpuia moves up to the first spot in the top scorer charts with 11 goals.
The second half was no difference either, although Samuel Lalmuanpuia was rest by coach and substitute Lalrammuana kept the momentum going with his long ranger goal in the 47th minute.
Samuel Kynshi scored the hat trick (63´, 65´ and 79´) in the second half while Lalrammuana added a double and Shaiborlang Kharpran and Redeem Tlang added one each for the Reds.
The Boys Sports who fielded young team has no match with Lajong side.
With the win, Shillong Lajong FC has now 22 points from 12 games with six win and four draws.
